Mutton Green Masala is a rich and flavorful curry made with tender mutton slow-cooked in coconut milk and aromatic spices. Konkani version

Ingredients

For cooking mutton
1 kg Mutton
3-4 cloves
2 cardamom
2 Tblsn Tamarind juice
2 cups coconut ( extract thick and thin Coconut milk, here use only the thin Coconut milk set aside the thick coconut milk to use at the end of the preparation.)
Salt to taste
1 Tspn Turmeric powder

For Masala
1 Tblsp oil
1 Tblsp Ghee
1 Big onion
5-6 Garlic cloves
1" Ginger
1 cup coconut
8-10 green chillies
2 Red chillies
1½ Tblspn Coriander
1 Tspn Pepper
1 Tspn Cumin
1" cinnamon
4-5 cloves
2 cardamom
½ Tspn Fennel
1 Big Tomato
1 Tspn Poppy seeds
4-5 almonds / cashews
1 Bunch Coriander leaves
½ Bunch Mint leaves

Other ingredients
2 Potatoes (optional)
2 tomato
Thick coconut milk
Ghee / oil

Tempering
1 Onion
Ghee and oil
