June 20, 2010 : A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. One Vasantha K. (45) who was working in Fr Muller Hospital at Kankanady Mangalore went to his house on 19/06/2010 at 0715 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.

June 19, 2010 : A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Bishasara John (23) C/o Kannur Hostel Mangalore left her hostel on 16/06/2010 at 1800 hrs and did not return her hostel there after. She has been found missing since then.

June 18, 2010 : A case of Boy missing has been registered in Urwa Police Station. One Kiran (15) R/o Bapuji Nagara Kodikal Mangalore left his house on 12/06/2010 and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.

June 17, 2010 : A case of Mangalore Rural missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Rajan Najarath @ Raja (40) R/o Kutinapadavu Mallur village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 08/06/2010 at 0800 hrs and did not return to her house there after. He has been found missing since then.

June 15, 2010 : A case of Affray has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 14/06/2008 at 1300 hrs accused Vinod (31) R/o Bajpe Mangalore and Uttham Singh (19) R/o Mulki Mangalore picked up quarrel and started fighting over timing of the bus routes in a public place at Yenepoya Mall Kadri road Mangalore. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray (sec 160) IPC.

June 13, 2010 : A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic East Police Station. On 11/06/2010 at 2045 hrs in front of Siquira Engineering works at Kankanady Mangalore one driver of Bolero car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-9687 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-4837. Further Bolero car moved ahead and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-44-9796. As a result Manohara P. (29) R/o Kepu village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-4837 and Sachin pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-44-9796 sustained grievous injuries.

June 12, 2010 : A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 11/06/2010 at 0230 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one T. Rama Adyanthaya (58) R/o Vivekananda Nagara Talapady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the back door lock and committed a theft of gold Chain (Karimani Chain). The stolen property is worth Rs. 23, 000/.

June 11, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 09/06/2010 at 1945 hrs at Bykampady Industrial Area Jokatte road Panambur Mangalore one Ullas driver of Crane bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-0686 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Bicycle. As a result Bicycle rider one Manju (24) R/o Bagalkote District sustained serious injuries. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

June 10, 2010 : A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 08/06/2010 at 1430 hrs in the Jayaraj Bar & Restaurant at Bajpe Mangalore accused Shekara and Sudarshan abused one Amar Alva (32) R/o Paduperara Bajpe Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with beer bottle owing to trivial issue.

June 9, 2010 : On 08/06/2010 at 1735 hrs on specific information Kamalaksha ASI Ullal PS along with staff conducted raid on near Neharu Nagara Beach at Ullal Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 05 persons playing "Ander - Bahar" with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 6,150/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Pakku @ Prakash (38), Haneef @ Mohammed Haneef (21), Husain (39), Sachin and Denzil who were indulging in gambling. In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Ullal PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.

June 8, 2010 : A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Robbery along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 04/06/2010 at 0915 hrs accused Ramachandra, Roni D Souza, Anil D Souza and another one person abused one Raghavendra (53) R/o Kuloor Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand near Kuloor Bridge at Panambur Mangalore and also robbed cash Rs. 1,70,000/ and gold chain from his neck and also gave life threat him owing to previous enmity between them.

June 7, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 06/06/2010 at 0730 hrs on Shirthady-Moodabidre road at Moodukonaje village Mangalore Taluk one Ganesha Mugeraya driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-5792 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Chandappa (52) R/o Padukonaje village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further she succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

June 6, 2010 : A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 04/06/2010 at 0830 hrs near Kisco junction at Panambur Mangalore accused Raghavendra, Yogisha Kuloor and Jayanna Thaneerbhavi abused one Anil Dived R/o Kuloor Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat him owing to trivial issue.

June 5, 2010 : A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. One Terence F.R. Pinto (61) R/o Padavinangady Pacchanady village Mangalore Taluk left his house on 04/06/2010 at 0800 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.

June 4, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 01/06/2010 at 2030 hrs in front of Kulal Bhavana at Thadambail Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk one Azamal Ali driver of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-878 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mutthappa a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Mutthappa was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same at 2345 hrs.

June 3, 2010 : A case under Murder has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 2400 hrs of 01/06/2010 and 0800 hrs of 02/06/2010 accused one Yamunappa assaulted one unknown Female by hand and he murdered her by strangulation and thrown her into to the well near Chakravarthi Ground at 6th Block Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk.

June 2, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 01/06/2010 at 1500 hrs in front of Korddabbu Daivasthana Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. MP-09-HF-792 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7967. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Satheesh Gowda sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

June 1, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station where in one Denial D Souza has been declared dead while under treatment on 30/05/2010 at 11100 hrs. The said Denial D Souza was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 29/05/2010 at 2030 hrs at Vamanjoor Theruvailu village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Fr Muller Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station.

June 1, 2010 : A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 29/05/2010 and 0700 hrs of 30/05/2010 one Roysons Crastha (23) R/o Pilikula Nisargadhama Vamanjoor Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.

May 31, 2010 :A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 29/05/2010 at 1530 hrs one Ashoka Moolya (37) R/o Ajjibettu village Bantwal Taluk who was judicial custody at Sub jail Bejai Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in bath room at Sub jail Bejai Mangalore.

May 30, 2010 : A case of Girl missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 27/05/2010 at 0800 hrs one Mohini (17) R/o Guripalla Kodekkal Ujire village Belthangady Taluk went to college at S.D.M. Ujire village Belthangady Taluk and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since.

May 29, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 22/05/2010 at 1030 hrs near Beleyurkatte Balnadu village Puttur Taluk one Pradeep rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-1447 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Amrtha Kala (37) R/o Sagu house Punacha village Bantwal Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further she was admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 28/05/2010 at 0515 hrs.

May 28, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 26/05/2010 at 0015 hrs at Kuntalpalke Kokrady village Belthangady Taluk one Sadashiva Achary rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CTA-4952 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7507 driven by Rajinth (19) R/o Nittade village Belthangady Taluk. As a result one Armurugan @ Murugan pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7507 sustained serious injuries. Further Armurugan @ Murugan succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

May 26, 2010 : A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 24/05/2010 at 2145 hrs one Naveen Kumar (20) R/o Koneri Mutthu Ivarnadu village Sullia Taluk attempted to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on himself. He got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 25/05/2010 at 0350 hrs.

May 21, 2010 : A case under Cruelty by husband and relatives along with Dowry Prohibition act has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of one Jyothi Salian (30) W/o Nithin Salian R/o Thadambail Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Nithin Salian (husband) and his relatives Bogesh Salian and Indira Salian gave mental and physical harassment to one Jyothi Salian to bring more dowry.

May 20, 2010 : A case under Attempt to Murder has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 18/05/2010 at 1445 hrs in front of Bhagyodhaya Industry at Mukva junction Puttur Town accused two unknown persons came in a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-5817 and attempted to murder one Mohammed Siraj M (24) R/o Mukva Narimogaru village Puttur Taluk by assaulted him with sharp weapon.

May 19, 2010 : A case under Criminal restraint, outranging the modesty of women along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in the Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/05/2010 at 1300 hrs accused one Kushalappa Gowda criminally restrained one Girija W/o Shekara Gowda (38) R/o Ambetthadka Shishila village Belthangady Taluk near her house and abused her in filthy language and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling hand and also gave life threat to her.

May 18, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 17/05/2010 at 1100 hrs at Anegundi Kanakamajalu village Sullia Taluk one Mohammed driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-47 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4491. As a result Mohan who was traveling in the said jeep sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

May 17, 2010 : A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 15/05/2010 at 1515 hrs accused one Krishna @ Chaddy Kittappa criminally restrained one Mohammed (59) R/o Mukrampady Kemminje village Puttur Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

May 16, 2010 : A case under Criminal restraint, Outraging modesty of woman SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/05/2010 at 2400 hrs accused Razaq criminally restrained one Pushpa (23) belonging to the Dalith community R/o Neharu Nagara Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk near her house and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

May 15, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station where in one Vijaya Salian (52) has been declared dead while under treatment on 14/05/2010 at 0830 hrs. The said Vijaya Salian (52) was seriously injured by a Tipper lorry in a road traffic accident on 10/05/2010 at 1615 hrs near Petrol pump at Kokkarekallu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the Thejashwini Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Mulki Police Station.

May 15, 2010 : A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 13/05/2010 at 1200 hrs unknown male and female dead body were found in the Nethravathi River at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. It seems to be a case of suicide.

May 12, 2010 : A case of Girl missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 09/05/2010 one Laveena Ferao (23) R/o Doomadka Irde village Puttur Taluk went to work at State bank Mangalore and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.

May 12, 2010 : A case of Girl missing has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. One Vidya (17) D/o Udaya Belchada R/o Permude village Mangalore Taluk left her house in between 2100 hrs of 10/05/2010 and 0600 hrs of 11/05/2010 and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.

May 11, 2010 : A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 0945 hrs and 1300 hrs of 09/05/2010 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Platinum motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1181 belonging to one Fazal Mohammed (43) R/o Kudroli Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Platinum Theatre at Mangalore. The Bajaj Platinum motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

May 10, 2010 : A case of Woman and Children missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 1530 hrs of 05/05/2010 and 1815 hrs of 09/05/2010 Jyothi W/o Roopesh R/o Chithrapura Kulai village Mangalore Taluk left her house along with her children Shravanya and Samiksha and did not return her house there after. They have been found missing since then.

May 9, 2010 : A case under Cruelty by husband, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Seetha (42) W/o Srikanth R/o Jeppu Bappal Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Srikanth (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Seetha to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

May 7, 2010 : A case under causing death due to negligence has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station on the complaint of one Poovappa Naik R/o Kavu Bantwal Town. In the complaint it is alleged that one Bhavith Kumar (03) S/o Srikanth Rao who was admitted to the Chethana hospital at Puttur Town for treatment was died on 04/05/2010 at 2015 hrs due to the negligence of Doctors and staff of Chethana Hospital at Puttur Town.

May 6, 2010 : On 04/05/2010 at 2000 hrs PSI Venoor PS along with his staff on credible information intercepted a Tata 207 DI vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1012 near Primary Health Centre at Venoor village Belthangady Taluk and seized 12 wooden logs that were being transported illegally by arresting Prince Thomas (30) R/o Kavalamoodur village Bantwal Taluk. The vehicle has also been seized. Total worth of wooden logs and value of Tempo is Rs.1 55,000/. In this connection, a case has been registered in Venoor PS under the Karnataka Forest Act.

May 5, 2010 : A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 04/04/2010 and 1600 hrs of 05/05/2010 one Ramesh Poojary (35) R/o Malali Matti house Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging near Nagabana at Malali Matti Badagaulipady village Mangalore Taluk owing to personal problem.

May 4, 2010 : A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 0015 hrs of 02/05/2010 and 0700 hrs of 03/05/2010 one Meenakshi (38) R/o Mukribettu Uliya village Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into a pond near her house while walking and died of drowning.

May 3, 2010 : A case of Woman missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 30/04/2010 at 0600 hrs one Rajivi R/o Ambika road Pilar village Mangalore Taluk went to Mangalore and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since.

May 2, 2010 : A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 30/04/2010 and 0730 hrs of 01/05/2010 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Mobile shop at Vasudeva Plaza B.C. road Bantwal Town belonging to one Rukmaya P.S. (51) R/o Jodumarga Bantwal Town by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft mobile phones, Recharge cards and Memory cards all in worth Rs. 38,342/.

May 1, 2010 : A case of House trespass, outraging the modesty of women along with intending to insult the modesty of woman (sec 509 IPC) has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 27/04/2010 at 0030 hrs accused Karthik M.R, Harshavardhana and Ravi Kumar criminally trespassed into the Fisheries Ladies Hostel at Mangalore outraged modesty of one Mari Joseph (19) R/o Fisheries Ladies Hostel Mangalore by pulling her hand and tried to insult her modesty owing to trivial issue.

April 30, 2010 : A case under Dowry death has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station on the complaint of one PSI Bantwal Rural PS. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Abdhul Hameed (Husband) gave physical and mental harassment to his wife Fathimath Johara (23) W/o Abdhul Hameed R/o Thanchibottu Sajipanadu village Bantwal Taluk to bring more dowry due to which she was committed suicide in between 2300 hrs and 0600 hrs of 26/04/2010 by hanging in her house.

April 29, 2010 : A case of Woman and Children missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police. One Lalitha (28) left from the Pranja Centre Jappina Mogaru Mangalore along with her children Yashawantha (08) and Revathi (03) on 26/04/2010 at 1245 hrs. They are found missing since then.

April 28, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 25/04/2010 at 1830 hrs at Boodujalu Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one Ashoka driver of Trax vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA -27-7135 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9471. As a result auto rickshaw driver one Ramanatha sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

April 27, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 25/04/2010 at 1330 hrs at Kuntal Palke Kowkarady village village Belthangady Taluk one Sadashiva Achary rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CTA-4952 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7507. As a result one Armurgan @ Murugan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-7507 sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

April 26, 2010 : A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/04/2010 at 1015 hrs near Kinnikambla school at Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA -01-B-3517 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-346 driven by Mohammed Rafeeq (27) R/o Navoor village Bantwal Taluk. As a result motorcycle rider one Mohammed Nowfal pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

April 25, 2010 : A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/04/2010 at 1545 hrs accused Deepak D Souza, Veleriyan Moras, Savila Macarenas, and Anil D Souza criminally restained one Wilson Fernandez (43) R/o D Silva Lane Velencia Mangalore near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
