Mississauga - Oct 3, 2006 :What first strikes any new comer to Canada is the immense size of the country. For most of us, back home, a car tends to be more a luxury than a necessity. However, that is not the case here. No doubt, we do have a good public transit system in Mississauga but given your place of residence, it could take you anywhere from 1/2 hr to 1 hr to get from pt. A to B, keeping in mind the bus routes. In fact, you could be considered lucky if you need to take just one bus to get anywhere.
Time is a commodity we all seem to have so little of here. So it makes good sense to get a car, which would save us travel time. However, what about the Insurance? Now that works differently here. Most of us probably paid equivalent to a month's premium here for a year's insurance back home. To help ensure premiums are kept at the minimum, one needs good driving skills and presence of mind on the roads to avoid any mishaps. A proper foundation is what's necessary to ensure future success. In driving too, this holds true.

Peter D'Souza, an automobile technician by profession, arrived with his family to Canada in 1997. Of course, they soon realized the importance of a car to get started and more so in his case, since it was a requirement in his line of work. His initial struggle to obtain a driving licence due to the poor quality of driving instruction he had received, inspired him to venture into the business. He had driving skills but needed to adapt them to a totally different set of rules and laws in the new place. Proper guidance and good initial orientation and training would help a driver smoothly transition on to Canadian roads and maintain a good, clean record, which in turn would help keep Insurance premiums to the minimum.
 Peter felt that he would be able to take on the role of a Driving Instructor and put into practice his ideas. His principles in life of discipline, honesty and hard work have brought him a long way. Today, he can be proud of his accomplishments. His modest business has picked up momentum and his good record and excellent pass rate help bring in new students. Peter offers his students good value for money and can tailor a program to suit any need. He takes over the worries and hassles of organizing a driving test too. An easy payment plan if required, can be accommodated as well. Peter ensures all his students imbibe from him driving skills as well as safe driving attitude and behaviour. This is especially important in new teen drivers. Safer drivers on our roads will eventually translate into a better, safer community for all.
